Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply when you use the Epic Calendars website or an Epic Calendars application, including Forest Calendar.
By using a service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service
Epic Calendars provides themed editorial content, interactive calendars, historical events, quizzes, polls, widgets, notifications, videos and related features.
Football-themed apps may also provide fixtures, results, tables, player information and statistical content.
Features may differ between apps, themes, versions, devices, countries and free or premium access.
Unofficial and independent service
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Epic Calendars apps are independent, unofficial fan products.
They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially connected with any featured football club, league, competition, artist, band, record company or other rights holder.
Club, competition, artist and other third-party names, trademarks, badges, images and materials belong to their respective owners. References to them are used only to identify the subject of relevant editorial or informational content.
Eligibility
The services are intended for a general audience and are not designed specifically for children.
If you are under the age at which you can enter into a binding agreement in your country, you may use the services only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Licence to use the services
Epic Calendars grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the website and apps for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You must not:
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of a service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data.
- Bypass payment, subscription or access controls.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or extract substantial parts of an app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Scrape, copy, republish or commercially exploit substantial service content.
- Use a service to distribute unlawful, harmful, abusive or infringing material.
- Misrepresent your relationship with Epic Calendars or any featured rights holder.
- Use automated systems in a way that places an unreasonable load on the services.
Mandatory rights granted by applicable law are not restricted by this section.
Calendar features and permissions
Calendar features operate only when you grant the required Android permissions and select the calendars you want the app to use.
Depending on your choices, an app may display events from selected calendars or create, update and remove events through Android’s calendar system.
You are responsible for:
- Reviewing the calendars you select.
- Confirming that you have permission to access or modify a selected calendar.
- Checking events before relying on them.
- Maintaining any backups you consider necessary.
- Removing events from an external calendar when you no longer want them.
Removing the app or clearing its local data may not remove events already written to an external calendar.
Epic Calendars is not responsible for changes made independently by Android, a calendar provider, another app or another person with access to the same calendar, except to the extent that liability cannot legally be excluded.
Editorial, fixture and statistical information
Historical, editorial, fixture, result, table, player and statistical information is provided for general information and entertainment.
Although we aim to provide useful and accurate information, third-party data may be delayed, incomplete, corrected or unavailable. Fixtures and event times may change.
You should verify important current information with an appropriate official source before relying on it for travel, purchases, attendance or other decisions.
Polls and quizzes
Polls and quizzes are provided for entertainment and engagement.
Poll totals may change as additional votes are received or as invalid or abusive activity is removed. Quiz answers and explanations reflect the information available when the relevant content was prepared and may be corrected later.
You must not use automated methods, manipulation or other abusive techniques to distort poll results or interfere with engagement features.
Future Premium purchases and subscriptions
Premium purchases and subscriptions are not currently available.
If Epic Calendars introduces paid products or subscriptions in the future, they will be offered through Google Play. The price, billing period, currency, any available trial or introductory offer and the included premium features will be shown before you confirm a purchase.
If a future product is an automatically renewing subscription:
- Payment will be charged through your Google Play account.
- The subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled.
- Google Play will handle payment processing.
- You will be able to manage or cancel the subscription through Google Play.
- Uninstalling an app will not cancel a subscription.
- After cancellation, premium access will normally continue until the end of the period already paid for, unless Google Play states otherwise.
- A restore-purchase option may be available to recover an existing entitlement.

Refunds are handled under Google Play’s applicable procedures and mandatory consumer law. Nothing in these Terms removes any statutory cancellation, refund, conformity or other consumer rights that apply to you.
A website contact request will not by itself cancel a future Google Play subscription.
Third-party services
Some features depend on services provided by third parties, including Android, Google Play, calendar providers, hosting providers, video platforms and sports or other data providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. They may change, restrict or discontinue their services independently of Epic Calendars.
Links to external websites or services are provided for convenience. Epic Calendars does not control and is not responsible for external content, availability, security or privacy practices.
Intellectual property
The website, apps, software, interface designs, original written content, original artwork, databases and Epic Calendars branding are owned by or licensed to FOCAL POINT EDTECH, UNIPESSOAL, LDA and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.
Third-party names, trademarks, artwork, photographs, videos and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.
If you believe that material available through a service infringes your rights, please contact us with enough information to identify the material and explain your concern.
Contact-form submissions
You must not use the contact form to submit unlawful, threatening, abusive, malicious or infringing material, malware, confidential information belonging to another person, or unsolicited marketing.
You retain ownership of the content of your message. You permit us to use and internally share the message only as reasonably necessary to investigate and respond to it, operate the service, comply with law or protect legal rights.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanent availability.
We may update, correct, add, remove or change content and features for maintenance, security, legal, technical or operational reasons.
We may suspend part or all of a service where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law or address a serious technical or security problem.
If paid subscriptions are introduced, changes to them will remain subject to Google Play requirements and applicable consumer law.
Ending use
You may stop using an app at any time by uninstalling it. If subscriptions are introduced in the future, uninstalling will not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Uninstalling may also leave events already stored in an external calendar.
Epic Calendars may restrict or terminate access where these Terms are materially or repeatedly breached, where use creates a security or legal risk, or where action is reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.
If paid access is introduced in the future, where reasonably possible and legally appropriate, we will provide notice before terminating that access for a breach.
Disclaimers and responsibility
The services are provided for general information and entertainment.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that:
- Every service will always be available.
- All information will always be complete, current or error-free.
- Every feature will operate on every device or with every third-party service.
- External links or third-party services will remain available.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable mandatory consumer protections.
Subject to those protections, Epic Calendars is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by events outside its reasonable control or by a user’s failure to follow reasonable instructions, protect their device or review their calendar selections.

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to services, law, security requirements or business operations.
The effective date at the top identifies the current version. If paid services are introduced in the future, where a change materially affects existing users or those paid services, we will provide appropriate notice where required.
Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you should stop using the services. If subscriptions are introduced in the future, you should also cancel any future subscription renewal.
Governing law and consumer rights
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of the country in which you normally live.
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from using a court or another dispute-resolution process available under applicable law.

Language versions: These Terms of Service are available in English and Portuguese. If there is any inconsistency between the versions, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by applicable law.
